Atkinson, of Roy, has been named as commander of the 405th Combat Logistics Support Squadron (Reserve) at Hill AFB. Lt. Col Atkinson is self employed in civilian life. The new unit of which he will be commander is a combining of two other units at Hill AFB. Col. Atkinson has served overseas tours in Korea, Germany and Thailand. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Provost and Mrs. Roy Austin. Mr. Joseph Martinez was honored at a luncheon and given a plaque by the Association, which also chose a queen, Mrs. Janet Purdy. She is a patient at Hill Haven Convalescent Center, Salt Lake City.
