LeeAnns recipe for Pork Chow Mein can easily be made in time for supper or frozen for future use. She likes to make two at once, freezing one for another night. The salad recipe she gave us, is not only delightful to look at but delicious to eat. PORK CHOW MEIN strips and cooked lb. pork, cut into thin oil. 10 minutes in 1 Tbl. In separate fry pan, cook 3 c. thin bias-cu- t celery slices, 1 c. sliced onion, and 1 6 oz. can mushrooms in 2 Tbl. oil until tender. Blend 3 Tbl. cornstarch, Vt c. cold water, 1 10Ma oz. can condensed beef broth, and Vi c, soy sauce. Stir into vegetables mixture. Add meat, 1 can bean sprouts or 1 can mixed Chinese vegetables, and 1 5 oz. can water chestnuts, sliced. Cook and ' " stir until thickened. Serve over rice or noodles.
