Wild Cranberry FIRE DEPARTMENT IS BUSY ON FOURTH Logan Firecrackers and sparklers kept Logan city and Cache county firemen busy Sunday night and Monday, Chief E. S. Laurence reported. The worst fire was caused before shortly midnight Sunday when a sparkler tossed on the roof of the home of Mark H Painter, 60 North 3rd West, did approximately $1500 damage to the attic and roof. Acording to reports, some persons who were using sparklers tosed one in the air and it landed on the Painter roof. After watching it for a few minutes they thought it was out, but later the roof burst into flames. Two pieces of Logan city fire apparatus answered the alarm. Three other fires, all grass and were caused from firecrackers, 355 South Main at reported at Cache Junction, and 74 E. 4th said.
