ARGYLE has two living brothers and eight sisters and Mr Argyle has one brother and two sisters. Mark and Susan Clark Argyle were united in marriage on July 18, 1928 with the ceremony being performed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. MR. ARGYLE was the son of Thomas H and LaVinia Mann Argyle of Bountiful. He spent his early life m Bountiful, graduating from schools in Davis County and later Utah State University at Logan and LDS Junior College in Salt Lake City. He served an LDS mission to England. He graduated from the University of Utah. Mr. and Argyle his sweetheart met when they were students at Davis High School. He recalls that it was in a geometry class they had together. This was held for Mr. and Mrs immediate family and members the all grandchildren, vsb tmaster, scout commissioner and stake athletic director for a lengthy period. HE TOO served for five years as bishop of the Clearfield First LDS Ward. He recalls being employed during the summer months and earning $.37 per hour. THE Moonlighter Square Dance Club held their annual outing at Flaming Gorge Dam on July 7 and 8 There was dancing Friday evening at the lodge and at the dam on Saturday evening A potluck dinner was served on Saturday before the dance. The club presented their long time caller, Clarence Eskridge and his wife Erma, with a gift of appreciation for all they have done for the club. There was also boating, dancing, river raft riding down the river and even some fishing. THERE WERE 25 couples from the club and several other clubs attending this fun annual affair. The Moonlighters have been quite busy this summer with many activities. There was a trip to Star Valley for several club members, with swimming, tennis, fishing and just resting ON JUNE 17 the canyon party up City Creek Canyon in Sait Lake City was attended by approximately 100 people. There was also a June visitation with the Pieces of Eight Club in Granger. The club had Lucky Packer as a guest callefon June 30 as the regular caller, Clarence Eskridge, was on vacation. ON FRIDAY, July 14. the club participated in the Tri Valley street dance in Salt Lake City on Main Street, in front of ZCMI. Following the dance several couples attended a swimming party at the Bill and Gay Carver home with dinner served following swimming. ALL THE club members are looking forward to getting back to the regular dancing on Friday evening, July 21 after all the fun activities.
