Davis and Woods Cross join other county schools this gets their league action underway with their first round slated for Friday, Jan. 6. Hillcrest and The Again Judge. A prominent Davis County 4H member has once again taken a cash award of $50 for being the top winner of the dairy demonstration in the state contest. She is Miss JoAnn Little of 669 East First 4-- LEADING THE Wildcats in just about every category is their fine center Mark is McCleery. Mark, at 6 one of the premiere big4, men in the 3A ranks. He can score in start DAVIS IS starting to find their legs for the basketball court. Coach Gardner has showed a lot of patience with his players and theyre start- ing to respond. Junior Mike Mounteer is the best guard in camp. He saw a lot of action as a sophomore last year and is valuable experience. Big man in the Dart system is Troy Howard who is finding the range. They need a good performance out of their big man if South, Kaysville. MISS Little has been a Club member the past eight years and has won numerous 4-- from just about anywhere with a great shooting ability. Hes also big on the rebounding charts. other Conference at Snow College in Southern Utah this past summer. MISS Little is a junior student at Davis High School where she is currently a member of the American Field Service, National Honor Society and Parent-Teache- r Student Association. She is active in her church functions and organizations and is currently serving as secretary of the Kaysville East Stake Ninth LDS Ward Laurels. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Little, They are a little confused. Woods Cross is here and they are a team to reckon with. Davis is improving each week, if healthy theyll cause problems. The Darts are strong at home, and Woods Cross is strong anywhere. Look for both to win Layton has three guards they can counter with in Ben Bubak, Carl Woodward and Rick Snow, In their win over Bonneville the Lancers used all three effectively, Woodward got in foul trouble but Snow came in and did a great as containing the Montgomery kid. look for Brandon Flint, also 6 4, to draw that assignment. These two should have a very physical game under the boards Flint also figures in when the matchups get even better for the Viewmont game on Tuesday.
