Show 5 Hearty Eating On A Budget Martin-Hunt- by Carol Jean Shaw i Salad lovers, try Carolyns creamy Ranch Dressing and French Dressing. Both are easy to make, either. ; delicious, and dont cost a fortune, Carolyns Ranch Dressing Mix together with a wire ship or beater: :: 1 pint buttermilk 1 pint mayonaise ; teaspoon dried parsley flakes : Vs teaspoon powdered garlic : v2 teaspoon black pepper Vz teaspoon powdered onion 1 teaspoon Accent : . 4 teaspoon salt Jeanettes French Dressing This can be made by shaking all the ingredients together in a quart jar, but I like to make it in the blender. When made in the blender, it turns out to be a pretty pink color instead of red, but it says mixed better, and is easier to make. The onion can then be cut into chunks, rather than grated, and most of the ingredients can be measured right in the blender jar. Mix together: 1 cup catsup 1 cup cooking oil : 'z cup sugar 'a cup vinegar ; l tablespoon lemon juice :: l'4 teaspoons salt i onion (grated, if mixed by hand) : Jeanettes By Carol Jean Shaw The da y of reckon ing is at hand ! I usually just choose the one I like best, and keep on eating cookies. Living with 5 or 10 extra pounds closely approximates living with a cat. While one may feel sort of uneasy about the situation, it never seems bad enough to get serious enough to actually DO anything about, it. Unfortunately, mirrors arent as easy to fool as scales. I suppose Id better start dieting in earnest. I will, as soon as the holidays are over. Right after Arbor Day.
