The Jazz must be down to the 11 man limit by October 10, two days prior to the opening game of the year at Portland on October 12. Placed on waivers by the Jazz on Monday were guard Wilbur Holland and rookie forward Larry Knight. Holland Joined the Jazz during the summer in a State University at 7:30 p.m. The Rockets are led in Friday nights win over the Jazz by Calvin Murphys 20 points. Other Houston players to score in double figures in its victory were Robert Reid (15), Rudy (12), Moses Malone (13), Mike Newlin ((12) and Mike Dunleavy (10).
