They feature interesting displays of mining, prehistoric animals, early river running adventures and American Indians. They are located in Helper, Price, Castle Dale, Cleveland Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry and Green River. Biking and hiking trails take you to some of the world's beautiful mountain country as well as rugged yet serine desert landscapes. Golfing is serious recreation in Castle Country. Carbon course located adjaCounty boasts a wonderful cent to the Price River just north of Price. Just west of Ferron a tricky, well planned course just fits between a series of hills, valleys, cliffs and streams. The new Green River State Park course is uniquely situated along the meandering Greep River. You can't go wrong playing any of these courses. 18-ho- le le Sunsets in the area are immaculate and common. State parks dot the map of Castle Country. They provide fishing, boating, hiking, camping and just good ol' fashioned resting in Scofield, Millsite (just west of Ferron), Huntington and Green River. Canyon is a beautiful, scenic desert canyon located just north of Wellington. Some of the finest Indian Nine-Mil- e petroglyphs and pictographs, 1,200 in all, are found here. Guides and outfitters also are a part of our landscape in helping visitors reach just about any destination they desire in Castle Country. And there are plenty of local accommodations.
