To save money and get the system you desire, the Utah Better Business Bureau suggests doing some homework. e If you are a buyer with little or no experience, trying to decide what you want in a computer can be a hard decision. first-tim- your search, read computer magazines or other literature. Speak to friends and colleagues who have personal computers so that you get a good idea of what computer specific applications you want and need. Once you decide on a shop to do business with, contact the Utah Better Business Bureau to get a reliability report on the company. Find out how long the company has been in business. Sometimes youll find that a lot of shops will start up, manufac ture a lot of systems and then disappear. Look for a place that will sit down with you and talk about your needs. You want people who will take the time to show you why one part is better than another, not just tell you. When your new equipment is ready to be picked up, immediately run a diagnostic program to make sure your computer is everything it appears to be. Its a good idea do to the procedure while the system is still in the store. It is also a good idea to do what is called a burn-i- n on your machine when you get it home. Most shops have short warranties so you should leave your system on for at least three days. The process should kill any substandard or heavily worn parts while the warranty is valid. Never buy from a shop without a warranty. Ask about computer support and service. Most custombuilding computer stores are a local phone call away and are least likely to put you on hold for an extended period of time. The downside is many small shops cannot afford to staff a help line. So if support matters to custom a built PC may not you, be your choice. 24-ho- round-the-cloc- k 278 feet; East 58.5 feet; North 278 feet; West 158.5 feet to the point of BEGINNING. All One of the major dilemmas of the session will be how to fund everything. The budget is always one of the most difficult issues Utah lawmakers deal with. But in 1998, it is compounded by several factors dealing with the Interstate 15 $230 million of funding has moved ahead because construction is moving faster than expected and because federal highway funds are coming to the state slower than expected. That will save money in the long run, but it means Utah will have to put more of the current budget into highways than was planned last year. Part of the challenge becomes to make sure needed projects in other areas of the state are not totally put off so that the state ends up with being funded. Since just more than just fuel taxes are going into roads, the issue spills over into other areas of state government. The public school system is somewhat protected in that income taxes according to the Utah Constitution can only be spent on education. The Constitution was recently amended to where some of the income tax can be used on higher education. IN Lot 16B, GOLDING ESTATES, AMENDMENT AND TO Defendants.
