The Lady Dinos go to 2 in region play, and Uintah falls 7-- to 6-- 3. The Dino attack used home runs by Missy Bueno, Ember McCourt, T amara Klarich and Dinos the win. Carbons usual fine defense held the normally-poten- t Lady Utes to only three runs. Carbon started the season on an upbeat swing, but youthful inexperience led to a series of losses early in region play. But patience plus good coaching from Don Gressmen and assistant coach Judy Hamaker and an all-importa- nt positive attitude by and one of the teams best defenders. He went three for four on the day, with four RBIs and three runs of his own. Craig Wright added to Carbons offensive total with four RBIs and a two-ru- n homer. Cloward started on the mound for Coach Tony Pinedo, and Steve Jensen had another fine performance in relief, shutting down the Utes in the seventh. The Carbon High baseball team could have come back sluggish from its dismal loss to Emery last Friday.
