I GIT 84 1 9P 10 C015 4x A Aloha! Nearly 1200 people showed up for the annual Salina Stake Hoedown. This year a Polynesian group came to entertain. Residents got into the spirit, as they were called out of the audience to dance, or sing as a congregation. These are just a few of the highlights from the evening. A dance followed the dinner and entertainment. Chamber to visit Redmond Minerals The general luncheon meeting for August is going to be a little different. The Chamber is working with Milo Bosshardt from Redmond Development in conjunction with Reed Shaw from Carriage Court on having a tour and a luncheon at Redmond Minerals in Redmond. It is planned to meet at Redmond Minerals at 12 noon, please be prompt so the tour can start. Redmond Minerals is waiving the fee for the Chamber Members to have the tour. The tour can take from an hour to an hour and a half, so the chamber could be there a good two hours including time to eat our lunch. That brings us to the lunches...Reed will bring our sack lunches to Redmond Minerals. The cost will be $5.00 per lunch. You can 9 6 or Reed and let us know if you will be there. either call Sherri 529-745- 529-387- Barney to perform during Local vocalist Jessica Barney will perform at a special rodeo on Friday, August 7; at the Sevier County Fair. The rodeo begins at 7 p.m. in the main arena at the Fairgrounds, 200 South 500 East, Richfield. Barneys perpre-sho- w formance will precede the rodeo, beginning about 6:30 p.m. A rodeo ticket will be required to enter the arena. ; Barney has been entertaining since age five and has performed throughout the United States. She recently returned from Canada, where she was touring with OPUS, a prestigious a cappella vocal group from Southern .Utah University. Barney is a student at SUU, where she carries a 4.0 grade point average. I S6VH3T CCMEHty Parade to Catch a free Three free dances kickoff week ride to Fair slated during Fair Week i A parade on Richfields Main Street will be the first event in the Grand Opening celebration of the Sevier County Fair, Thursday, August 6, 5:30 p.m. The parade will begin at Richfield City Park, 400 North, and travel down Main Street to 200 South, where it will turn east and proceed to the Fairgrounds. Catch a free ride to the Sevier County Fair on Saturday, August 8!
