Show Wednesday. February 4. 1998 Salina Sun Page 11 NSMS honors February Students of the Month The North Sevier Middle School recently named the February Students of the Month. Following are the three students to be honored: Heather T aj lor is the daughter of Al and Diane T a lor of Salina. She is 4 ears old and an 8th grade student at North Sevier Middle School. She likes music, roller blading, riding 4 wheelers, dancing and just hanging out with her friends. Heather is also one of the youngest professional D.J.s in America and has performed at large dances all around the state of Utah. Upon completion of high school Heather plans on attending BYU or the University of Utah. Her goal is to become an attorney. Spelling Bee (Be, Bea) winners North Sevier Middle Schools annual Spelling Bee was held in the schools library on Thursday, January 22, 1 998. Thirty finalists, 1 0 from each grade, participated in Kristina Peterson the event. The finalists were determined in their respective English classrooms prior to the schoolwide is a seventh grader at North Sevier M iddle School. She lives in Redmond, and is the daughter of Alan and Diana Peterson. She has two older brothers and one older sister. Kristina works very hard in trying to keep her grades up. She Spelling Bee. The top three winners of the NSMS Spelling Bee were Lee Jacobsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sheldon Jacobsen, 6th grade, First Place; Julie Williams, daughter of Mr. Clyde Williams, 8th grade, Second Place; and Gary Bosshardt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Neal Bosshardt, 6th grade, Third Place. The three top winners will represent NSMS at the Sevier District Spelling Bee on February 20 at 1 :30 p.m. at the Pahvant Elementary School in Richfield. loves school and enjoys being around her friends. She has many other interests which include music, baseball, and basketball. She spends several hours a week practicing to become better at the things she likes to do.
