Whitlock, age 77, passed way October 8, 1997, at the Gunnison Valley Hospital in Gunnison, Utah. Royal was born March 14, 1920, in Axtell, Utah, the son of Lilly E. (Olsen) and Royal Whitlock. He married Utah-Ro- yal Utah, in Louisville, Kentucky, on Sep-- ? 1, 1943, while stationed with the Air Force as a Glider Pilot Instruc-- ! tor. Robert M. Beechinor Blanche Mattsson Beechinor u .1 Blanche Mattsson Beechinor, bom of Salina for 20 years, passed away suddenly on September 30, 1997, in San Marcos, Texas. She was followed in death on October3 by her husband of 51 years. Col. (Ret.) Robert M. Beechinor, Jr. They had I i ved in San Marcos for some 3 5 years. They are survived by their 4 children and families, all residents of Texas: Son, France and Tee Beechinor, children Sonia, Zackary, and Alvin; Daughter, Becky Beech inor; Son William and Jan Beechinor, children Victoria and Liam, all of Austin; Daughter Diane Beechinor of San Antonia; Daughter Mary Mattsson Tracey, ofSan Marcos. Mrs. Beechinor leaves 23 cousins and 2 aunts in Utah Colorado. Col. Beech inor leaves a sister and 4 nieces and nephews in Connecticut. Mrs. Beechinor served during World War II as Assistant Field Director of the American Red Cross in Hawaii. During the past 30 years, she was a faithful member of the St. Marks Episocal Church and served as a very active member of the Altar Guild. She in and resident also devoted herself to many community endeavors, including Southside Community Center, Meals on Wheels, Church Women United, and Hillside Nursing Auxiliary. The deceased were interred at the San Marcos City Cemetery on October 4, after services held at the San Marcos City Cemetery Tabernacle.
