Relief Lamont Pearce Home Lamont Pearce, AMM 2c, son Mr. and Mrs. Everett Pearce, returned home Monday with an Tionorable discharge from Camp 'Wallace, Texas. He spent 38 months in the Navy, receiving his basic training at Farragut, Idaho. He was later sent to Norman, Ok lahoma where he attended school for five months and later sent Corpus Christi, Texas for 15 months. Miss Ivean Hansen is now at 502 East 18th St., Vancouver, Washington. She has worked in Portland for two wqeks but has now been assigned as Senior Companion and moved to ed Vancouver. Ivean, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Reuben Hansen of Hyrum, is serving as a missionary. Society meeting will convene at 2 p. m. on Tuesday with Mrs. Esther Gundersen presenting the lesson on The Bible in Our Literature. MIA will meet at 8 p. m. in the ward chapel. J. Miller have left Hyrum to make their home in Burley, Idaho, where Mr. Miller will farm this sum-- , mer. Accompanying them to their new home were their two children, Rex and Wilma. Mr. Miller has been employed at a guard at Bushnell hospital since Its construction. He has served In the ward bishopric and he and his wife' have been active in the different auxiliary organizations of the Hyrum First ward. Both being fine vocalists they have assisted In the ward choir for many years. It is with regret that the people here, see them leave. Hall-Cole- Cache Valley y Told Marriage Mr. and Mrs. William Hall of Hyrum announce the marriage of their daughter Shirley, to Golden Coley of Richmond. The marriage ceremony took place recently in Nevada. Shirley is a student at South Cache High School and popular in the younger set of Hyrum. Mr. Coley is a discharged serviceman having served in the Marine Corps for the past three years. The couple will make their home in Ogden. The product to be manufactured Is a new type of building block made from volcanic ash and cement which can be laid without mortar.
