So Proudly We HaiP There are a lot of people coming here to try their luck fishing in the Dam and we understand that just yesterday there was a very good catch made by a fisherman from Boxelder County. I was wondering if there wasnt a way whereby they can get the fish to only bit for the towns people, but I guess the fish arent fussy who they bite for. work-ia.-elim- There is sure a differences in the way they haul hay now than there was 10 or 15 years ago. Thej use tractors now and take in two and three loads at a time and man are they big loads. Bill Miller goes through main street with two nice loads of hay every two or three hours of the day. He either takes the hay to get it weighed or else to give it a ride, because he goes down the street and then comes right back but our guess that he has it weighed. Old man weather is really turning on the heat for a change, or we might say he turned it on for one day. Yesterday it was quite warm around here but today it is not so bad, maybe there were a lot of politicans around town yesterday in a lot oif arguments and that was what made it seem so hot. Low Down From Hickory Grove Anybody hesitating , about some more war stamps or a bond because they have enough or maybe think they cannot afford it, they should put on their old thinking cap and ponder a coupla minutes, and pard-oe- r, if they do so, they will reach for their hat and head down to the bank of P. 0. Being able to afford a bond is 100 per cent different from buying something that is gonna wear out or be used up and gone a few years hence when maybe cash money will not be bulging so heavy in the old hip pocket. Instead of not being able to afford an extra bond, it is vice versa. It is not being a spendthrift, spending money for stamps or a bond. Here is one place where you can spend your dough and then turn around in a ifew years and get all back plus a preset as inter-s- t to boot, , Go on down and make that extra . investment right now pull in vour belt cut out some of your didos and foolin around ithink about now it might be hereabouts if the other side should win this war. The American way of life offers us, as Americans, the right to choose those we wish to represent us. This privilege has been taken from so nan people of the world by politicans and ambitious rulers, we must be on our guard lest we neglect to exercise this privilege at the Primary July 11, and election.
