Maughan, members of .the Hyrum City Council, Hyrum Celebration Committee, Bishoprics of the three wards of Hyrum and heads of several ward organizations, was held at the City Hall Thursday evening, June 2, where plans were comcelepleted for' Hyrumls .big two-da- y bration Sunday and Monday July 24 and 25. Tentative plans were outlined as follows: Sunday, Jiily 24 will be devoted exclusively to Pioneer programs beginning with a Sunrise Service either at the Hyrum Dam or the City Park. Ihis event will be under the auspices kf the YLMIAs of the three wards with Mrs. W. H. Terry, chairman. At each of the ward Sunday Schools and Sacrement meetinSs requests will be made for Pioneer Programs, and that all aged people be considered as Pioneer Guests of Honor. Appropriate badges will be furnished' by the general committee for all the older people of the community. On the City Park grounds, just at Twilight, the climaxing event of the Sunday program will .take place tinder the direction of the Bishops ol An elaborate piothe three wards. neer program will be rendered.
