Show f L 8B Friday December Farold 1 Obituaries 2000 D Naef OGDEN - Farold Douglas Naef beloved husband loving father grandfather and great grandfather returned home to his Heavenly Father on Wednesday November 29 2000 following an extended illness His loving wife Delma was by his side Farold was bom November 9 1928 in Franklin Idaho to Onn Dou- glas and Ella Dur-raNaef Farold grew up in Franklin where he attended schools He also attended Albion State Normal lege WICKENBURG On June 9 1 952 he married Darleen Wilkinson in the Logan LDS Temple She passed away in October of 1952 In March of 1954 he married Benae Dur-raFrom this union were five children They were later divorced On January 16 1971 he married Delma Bennett in the Salt Lake LDS Temple Farold was a member of the Ogden 15th LDS Ward where he was a High Priest He served as a counselor in the Bishopric Sunday School Teacher Home Teacher Ordinance Worker in the Ogden Temple for five years and in various other callings Hill Air Force Base employed Farold (or 32 years as an electronic technician and mechanic specialist Farold had a great love for camping and spending time with his family He enlightened all who made contact with him with his wonderful sense of humor and had a compassionate heart towards ethers Farold was enthusiastic about working on and repairing electronics He oth- ers freely Surviving are his wife Delma of Ogden two daughters and four sons Vicky (Tom) Clements and Michael Mari) Naef both of Idaho Kevin Tammy) Naef Arizona Rochell (Nick) Hall Utah Chris (Tammy) Naef Arizona and Oliver (Debbie) Bennett Harrisville Farold left a great legacy of 1 5 grandchildren and 12 Also surviving are one brother and one sister Raymond (LuDell) Naef Idaho Melba (Jim) Larsen Salt Lake AZ - Floyd Lloyd L Nay- lor beloved husband father brother uncle grandfather and great grandfather left this world to return to our Heavenly home on Monday October 30 2000 He was born February 28 1928 in Ogden Utah the son of Charles H Naylor and Ethel Weller Naylor He had been a resident of Ogden for most of his life He and his loving wife M Laveme have Naylor resided Col- put this fine talent to work in serving Floyd L Naylor in for the last three years Floyd had served the U S Navy during World War II He was a retired firef ghter from the Ogden City Fire Department He was a talented handyman and loved to work on home improvement projects He enjoyed his home in Arizona and loved the surrounding scenery of desert plants and wildlife Dad and Laverne loved to travel and were able to take several wonderful trips Floyd had been a member of the Wickenburg Elks Lodge No 2160 and served as Treasurer A beautiful memo-na- l service was conducted for him at the Elks Lodge on November 3 2000 Floyd is survived by his wife Laveme Wickenburg one son Scott (Isabel) Naylor three daughters Kathryn (Ben Reyna) Gallegos Wendy Naylor Om and Susan (Brad) Colvell 13 grandchildren 11 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews Also surviving are two sisters Darlene (Robert) Gross of Layton Linda (Marvin) Morris of Clinton and one Colleen Naylor of Noti Oregon Floyd was preceded in death by his parents his first wife June Henderson Naylor and one brother C Ray Nayin lor ' Perhaps my time seemed all too bnef t lengthen it now with undue grief Lift up your hearts and peace to thee -
