Show IDAHO WEATHER REPORT the weather of the week ending monday june 22 was wa generally clear and exceedingly warm with hot drying winds which have taken much moisture moto ture from the oil and tendered rendered irrigation necessary nece seary in most moat cases tor for the first time this in ID some acme places place crops still have ample mola moisture and irrigation will not be needed for some lome time rainfall was reported at only a low few scattered 8 ca t gored stations and was very light ligh and tand several were cool with temperature almost low enough to cause frost in exposed places though slight alight indications of lie its occurrence were noticed by a few no damage whatever was done the frost of iasi haeft week in the he extreme southeastern section was apparently not so af severe as ae at first reported a are re still very high and beyond their banks in many places grain and meadows on low are under water but no additional damage has been done all crops have continued to make i rapid growth and are in excellent condition especially those on irrigated lands grains have improved wonder fully and wheat rye and barley are heading well we some grain on gated land is beginning to show slana ol of failure from lack of mota moisture ture gar dens dees and potatoes are all well above the ground and growing finely 41 f alfalfa alkalis will SOUD soon be ready for the first boquing which in many places has baa already begun the yield Is IB large and ol 01 good quality the fruit crop la Is in exceptionally good condition though shortened somewhat by late trusts and add cold bi strawberries straw berries and cherries s are ripening and some are ready tor for the market D P MCCALLUM section director |
