Show SEPTEMBER 15, 1987 LDS Missionaries Barbara Lee, daughter of Karen Lee, 498 E. 200 N., Kaysville, has been called to serve in the California Los Angeles Mission, primarily at the Los Angeles Temples Visitors Center. A farewell in her honor will be held Sept. 20 at 3:45 p.m. at the Kaysville 13th Ward Chapel at 850 E. 200 N. She will enter the MTC Oct. 7. Friends and relatives are invited to their home following the services. Barbara is a graduate of Davis High School and Seminary, Dixie College where she is serving as Relief Society president, and the LDS Institute of Religion. Barbara is presently employed at Dixie College. No newspaper could allow the summer to go by without running a column of zucchini squash recipes. Knowles, son of Ariel and JoAnn Knowles, has been called to serve in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin LDS mission. Prior to his Sept. 16 departure for the MTC, Elder Knowles spoke at the Kaysville 2nd North Chapel. A graduate of Davis High and the Kaysville Seminary, Kyle was captain of the Teachers Church basketball team that took area in 1984. He is also an Eagle Scout and has attended Weber State. Hansen, was selected as Chamber of Commerce Student of the Month for September. She was honored at the monthly meeting of the Layton Chamber of Commerce held Sept. 3 at the Valley View Golf Course. Sarah is a senior at Layton High Schbol. She is currently the historian. She was the secretary of her 8th grade class and the studentbody vice president at Central Davis Junior High. As a ninth grader, she received the second place award for the Zoal Z. Tanner commendation. Sarah has been a member of the sophomore and junior class committees. As a member of the National Honor Society, Sarah has maintained high honor roll grades throughout her secondary school career. She has taken AP history and biology and is currently enrolled in AP English. After graduating from high school, Sarah plans to attend Weber State College and major in 11 11 There will be a flyer going home with a form for class schedules, room numbers and teachers names.
