He was born Sept. 8, 1909 in Cambridge, Idaho, a son of Heber Clarence Jay (Jerry) Everton, Daniel and Grace Henderson a, Euphemia (Fama) Murphy Everton. He married Zora V. Wilde June 9, 1939, in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was an Elder in the LDS Church, and served in the presidency of the YMMIA in the Roy 2nd Ward. He enjoyed oil painting. He was a volunteer for the AARP and had been an officer in the Tops Club in Ogden. He had served as a Santa Claus for many organizations throughout the years. He worked at Hill Field and at the Internal Revenue Service, retiring in 1981, after 25 years of service. Surviving are his widow of Clinton, one son and four daughters, Larry J. Everton, Sunset; Mrs. Jay (Leda Rae) Kilfoyle, West Valley City; Mrs. Richard (Janice) Deer-inKent, Washington; Mrs. Larry g, (Carol) Wilkerson, Perry; Mrs. Michael (Kathryn) Kelley, Sunset; 21 grandchildren and eight greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are two half brothers and two half sisters, Clarence Jay Everton, Ventura, Calif.; Ronald Kunz, Satelite, Fla.; Mrs. Glen (Myrla) Peck, and Nadine Riggs, both of Pocatello, Ida. The Dedicatory prayer was offered by Jay Kilfoyle with interment in the Roy Cemetery. Bloxham. He married Aliene Nalder on Dec. 14, 1931, in Ogden. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He was reared and educated in Davis County. He had lived in Weber, Davis and Cache counties for 14 years; Elko and Lander counties, Nev. for 33 years; and in Sandy Cove, Ore. for eight years. He had worked as a rancher, as Kaysville City Marshall, a leather craftsman, and was superintendent of Elko County, Nev. Highway Dept, for 21 years. He was a member of the Well-svill- e 3rd LDS Ward. He had been a member of the Davis County Sheriffs Posse, was a volunteer fireman in Kaysville; fire marshall in Elko County, Nev. ; and board member of the Elko Credit Bureau. Surviving are his widow of Well-svilltwo sons and one daughter, V. Ben Bloxham, Provo; Wayne N. Bloxham, Phoenix, Ariz.; Mrs. Robert (LaRue) Wixom, Layton; 17 grandchildren and 19 greatgrandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers and one sister, Samuel Bloxham, Rosetta Swanger, both of Kaysvill-e- ; and Howard Bloxham, Wilsall, Mont. Services were held Feb. 28 at the Powell, Dean Kilfoyle, Carey Wilkerson, Dave Dahl, Keith Harding and John Austin. Honorary casket bearers were Darren Kilfoyle and Kelly Wilkerson. 949 W. Gordon Ave., Layton, died Thursday, Feb. 26, 1987 at the Humana Hospital Davis North of a heart attack. He was born Aug. 12, 1908 in Layton, a son of John and Ann Evans Allen. He married Ella Harding Jan. 27, 935, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He had been a fanner and had worked at the Arsenal and Hill Air Force Base. He was retired from the civil service. He had lived in Layton most of his life, and attended Davis County schools, graduating from Davis 1 John Michael Hogan, 36, formerly of Sunset, died Sunday, March 1, 1987 in Carlsbad, Calif, of a heart attack. He was bom Sept. 29, 1950, in Marion, Ohio, a son of John S. and Marcella G. Lindsey Hogan. He graduated from Clearfield High School and was a member of the American Legion. He had served with the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Surviving are his parents of Sunset, a grandmother, Mrs. Nellie Lindsey, Marion, Ohio. He died Nov. 11,1981. She was reared and educated in Center, Kentucky, had lived in Bear River City and spent most of her life in Clinton. She and her husband farmed for many years. She was later employed at Varney Canning Co. in Roy, the Ogden Arsenal and Defense Depot Ogden. She had been a seamstress at the Utah Tailoring Mills. She had also worked at Hill Air Force Base. She had served as a volunteer nurses aide at the Dee Hospital. She was an excellent gardener and was highly skilled at quilt making, knitting, crocheting, cooking and pie making. She and her husband danced, sang and played the fiddle and banjo for many church activities in their younger years. She was a member of the LDS Church and had been a visiting teacher. Surviving are two sons and one daughter; John C. Frogget, Westminster, Calif.; Robert G. Frogget, Tacoma, Wash.; Mrs. Floyd (Betty) Erickson, Clearfield; nine 21 randchildren and two grandchildren, HOWARD JOHN ALLEN Also surviving are two brothers, John Hulsey, Mumfordsville, Kentucky; Freeman Hulsey, Oildale, Calif.
