Show Page February THE JOURNAL 2 National DeCommemorating fense week, the annual military ball of the Armed Forces was held last Saturday evening at the Officers Club at the Clearfield Naval Supply Depot. The ball was sponsored by the Utah Departments of the Reserve Officers Association and the Reserve Officers Association Indies. Dinner and dancing followed a reception. In the receiving line were Brig. Gen. and Mrs. Franklin Riter, Salt Lake City; Col. and Mrs. L. H. Griffin, Ogden; Col and Mrs. Arthur L. Flandro, Salt Lake City; Lt. Col. and Mrs. George W. Mary E. Coleman left Sunday for Fort Dix, New Jersey, furafter spending a twenty-dalough at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Coleman of Clearfield. Pvt. Coleman has spent the past eight months at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. She enlisted January 31, 1!.V, and completed her basic training at Fort McClellan.
