P. in Clinton will hold their first meeting after the summer recess at the home of Mrs. Martha Bingham, Captain of the group of Clinton, Thursday at 7:30 P. M. According to Mrs. Sargent Rice of Clinton who is treasurer of the Ira Rice family organization, the family group will have its reunion Oct. 1 from 1:30 to 0:30 P. M. in the Pioneer Room at the Hotel Utah on the West side of the mezzanine floor. There will he a short program at 4:00 P. M. The rest of the time will be given over to informal discussion groups and the exchanging of family records. According to word recently received by her husband Mrs. Albert (LaVon) Mitchell of Clinton who is traveling in Europe at the present time, was in Bern, Switzerland, on September 11, to witness the dedication of the LDS Temple there. Mrs. Mitchell is accompanied ii her travels by her sister, Mrs. R. J. (Gladys) Wight of Ogden. Mrs. Wight is a member of the General MIA Board. Finished in warm redwood paneling, the restaurant is luxuriously j appointed and will serve luncheons and teas as well as dinners for all evening openings. Another innovation is the Room Hospitality which will be available for clubs and organized groups for regularly scheduled meetings and parties free of charge. The new Beauty Salon is greatly expanded and will accommodate twelve operators. All fixtures are completely new and feature the most modern types of equipment. The Ogden store will make available to downtown Ogden shoppers two new parking lots, capable of handling 1GOO cars per day. The store will also feature a hobby shop, gourmet shop as well as expanded china, glass and other home furnishing departments. The display windows facing Washington Boulevard have created much interest among those who have seen and been told about it. Mr. Anda stated the store policy as follows, The Bon Marche of Ogden will feature quality merchandise from the very finest to the least expensive commensurate with reliable quality including and featuring the best accepted national brands in a wide selection.
