Show March 5, 11)55 THE JOURNAL THE OLD HOME TOWN - By STANLEY U of U Audubon Schedules Top Nature Movie SALT LAKE CITY A color film of rare birds, flying squirrels, antics of curious insects and rare beauty of ferns and flowers will be presented Thursday, March 10, in Salt Lake City as part of the Audubon Series of the University of Utah Extension Division. Tip o the Mitten, film title and Buddy Poppy Girl Page nickname of the northern Michigan peninsula area where the actual filming was done, will be shown at S:15 pm., in Kingsbury Hall on the University campus. Nationally known ornithologist and nature photographer, I)r. Olin Seawall Pettingill Jr., will authoritatively and humorously narrate his unique film. Tip o the Mitten is an album of superb outdoor wildlife as well as a documentary film. Pettingill was official photographer on the Carnegie Museum Expedition to Hudson Day and has been commissioned to make several films by the National Audubon Society. Many of his films have been used in making Walt Disney 3 na- ture movies. Admission to the program is 50 cents per person.
