Show THE JOURNAL News About Folks in $3 Million CLINTON-SUNSE- T Railroad Order 1 New freight cars to cost nearly $3 million have been ordered by the Rio Grande Railroad, it was announced today by Wilson McCarthy, president. Largest single item consists of .500 triple hopper cars, ordered from the Pressed Steel Car Co., in Denver. Chicago. They will be used for coal loading and should relieve the present tight situation in coal cars, McCarthy said. An order for 25 covered hopper cars, for bulk loading of cement and similar products has been placed with the American Car & Foundry Co. of New York., In addition, 50 flat cars will be constructed by company forces at the Rio Grandes Burnham shops of Ogden.
