Rampton will be observed Tues- day at their home in Syracuse. Mr. and Mrs. Rampton have been active workers in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-daSaints. They were married Dec. 13, 1893, in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Rampton served ten years as president of the elders quorum, 50 years as ward teacher and as Sunday School teacher for a num-be- r of years in Syracuse ward. He was born in Bountiful March 15. 1870, a son of Henry and Ada Rampton. Now a farmer and stockman, he was first a blacksmith for 30 years the prefession of his pioneer father at Bountiful. Mrs. Rampton was born at Croydon, April 7, 1889, the daughter of James John and Mary Cox Walker and has lived in Kaysville since infancy. Mrs. Rampton taught in the first Syracuse Sunday School, served as counselor in the Primary Assn., was Relief Society president for three years and sectarey for two years. The living sons and daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Rampton are Royal W. Rampton, Bishop G. Henry Rampton, Miss Hazel Rampton and Verne Rampton, all of Syracuse; Mrs. Mary Gibby of Ogden and Mrs. Nellie Lowe of Hooper.
