Jensen, 90, who died on October 14, 1981, at his home in Spring City, were held in the Spring City Ward chapel on October 17, 1981. Interment was in the Spring City Cemetery. Mr. Jensen was born on March 9, 1891, in Moab, Utah, to Charles and Christina Hendricksen Ward chorister for 15 years. He sang in more than 1,500 funerals as soloist or in duets or quartets. ' He was active in the Democratic Party. jle served as member of the Gunnison Stake High Council for nine years; as ward clerk, stake Sunday School and MIA presidencies; president of the stake seventies quorum for 12 years and high priest group leader for 15 years. He married Lorna Bailey on August 3, 1914, in Manti, Utah. Their marriage was later eternalized in the Manti LDS Temple. He was born Feb. 17, 1898, in Centerfield, to Andrew C. and Mary Myrup Fjeldsted. He married Elizabeth Ruby - Roylance, Feb. 28, 1923, in the Manti LDS Temple. Mr. Fjeldsted was district manager and local agent for Farmers Insurance Group for 46 years and was still active in his business at the time of his death. He served as Sanpete County . Gerk for 14 years and was a member of the Sanpete County Industrial Development Committee for six years. Prominent in music circles, Mr. Fjeldsted had served as an officer in the Music Guild. He studied music as Brigham Young University and during World War I, when he enlisted in the U.S. Army, he was assigned to the Coast Artillery Band. He was later assigned to the heavy artillery band and was shipped to France where he fought on the front ty ' lines. After the war he went and into the fanning livestock raising business, and continued to be active in music and . athletic events and then entered the insurance business in 1935. Peterson, 83, who died on October 12, 1981, in Gunnison, Utah, were held in the Gunnison Stake Center on October 16, 1981. Burial was in the Centerfield Cemetery. Mr. Peterson was born in Ephraim, Utah, on January 1, 1898, to Peter Martin and Caroline Nilson Peterson. He married Lillian Jensen on June 10, 1925, in the Manti LDS Temple. He was a farmer and a live stock man. An active member of the LDS Church, he was a high priest, had been a bishop and a bishops counselor, had been a counselor in the Sunday School superintendency and MIA superintendent.
