Cynthia Ann Allred, 29, a daughter of Winona and the late Louis Allred, was approved by the council to serve the remainder of Brewers term which runs through December 1981. Ms. Allred graduated from Utah Technical College and has been employed as a dental technician and as a secretary. She is presently employed in the Mt. Pleasant office of mental Health Director Allan Hall. "It will be helpful for the people of Spring City to have the input of a woman council member," said Mayor Glen Osborne of the appointment.
