He was born December 25, 1927 in Vancouver Barracks, Washington to William Geer Sr. and FIJa t Thomas. Bill joined the MJtines during World War II wheji Mer-chaij- -- he was still too young to enlist. He then joined the Army in 946 anil served his country for more than 20 years. He married Doris Martin m 1950 and fathered six children. lie 1 retired from military service in 1967 and then worked for the US Postal Service until his retirement in 1980. Bill was an avid golfer and member of the Meadow Brook Men's Association for many years. He plaveid duplicate bridge for many years and attained the status of Bronze Life Master. He is survived By Doris Geer, his w ife of more then 57 years; their childien: Miehaql. Charlotte (Dan) Lindstrom. A Ilene Sheridan Kemp 1930-20- 08 "Together Again" 1 I Howard Burnham "Duck" 11161942 Ithni3u mm, Salt lake Valley Stores -- 3162008 Howard Frank Burnham, age 65, died March 16. 2008 at his home in West Valley City, UT of pulmonary fibrosis. Born Nov. 16, 1942 in Sparks, NV to Frank Howard and Dorothy L Rose Burnham. Howard grew up in Citrus Heights, CA and graduated from San Juan High School. Married Joanne Brill, later divorced. Married Suzanne Gourley Anderson Nov. 10, 1972 in Magna, UT, They were sealed for eternity in the Jordan River Temple Nov. 16, 1982. Howard was employed as a long haul driver by I ML Freight and Consolidated Freightway until his retirement. He loved to hunt and fish and camp with both family and friends, up before dawn, and back to camp in time for a nap. He loved to be in the mountains. He was generous with his time and talents and was always willing to help others. He loved to tease people and made friends easily. We will miss him very much. Survivors include his w ife, Suzanne of Wdst Valley City; son, Scott (Jet) Burnham, West Jordan; Patricia daughter, Andresen, Citrus Heights, CA; grandchildren, Tylef Andresen, Dylan Andresen, Seth Burnham, Claire Burnham; brother, Robert Magna, Utah - Ilene Kemp ae " 77, returned home to join her "beloved husband Robert (Boh) Joseph Kemp in the kingdom bf her Heavenly Father. With loving family at her side, she was peacefully released from the bonds and afflictions of this world in ordbr to begin making preparations for those left behind Ilene was bofn October 21, 1930 to Letitia afid Frank Sheridan in Salt Lake City Utah. A rambunctious kid who never lost that child like spirit, mom w as a lesson to us all. She served 28 years at the Granite School District central kitchenA dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and she held her family dear throughout her life as the most precious of gifts Her joys in life were gardening, her dog Maggie and spending time with family and friends She is survived by: Her children, Sandra (Doug) Trapped, Shirley (Steve) Yates.
