Show I s Mav 24, 2UU7 EST VALLEY NEWS, KEARNS POST THE MAGNA TIMES, COMMUNITY Rod and Linda Hulse return from mission Cyprus High Grad Night Celebration Wit6 This week the Granite School Board is scheduled to ,sfpu '. ; t!ie second reading ot'an updated Police Department Policy that is designed according to the district administration to enhance the cooi dotation and relationships between the Granite Police department and federal, state, and local agencies. The proposed changes are supposed to deal with duties of the department in general and regulate police pursuits. The policy defines the department's focus on safety and security of children, personnel, and the public primawithin rily the district boundary. One of the main reasons for the change previously was the fact that Granite police officers were doing police activity such as drug raids in areas outside the district such as in Davis County. Board members at that time questioned the liability to the Granite patrons if a Granite police officer was Landmark The Cyprus Highs Grad Night Celebration will be held June 1 from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. at Cyprus High. All sophomores, juniors, and seniors are invited. Admission is $15 and includes all events. Adult volunteers are needed to help set up, chaperone, and clean up.
