Show The Magna TimesAVest Valley News March 20, 2003 7 Business Target Bullseye Challenge to help food bank During the month of April, SuperTarget will give away more than $10,000 worth of groceries and donations to the Wasatch Front community through the SuperTarget Bullseye Challenge. The contest gives Utahns a chance to win $5,000 worth of free groceries, while helping Utahs hungry at the same time. Contestants enter by simply creating the SuperTarget Bullseye logo out of food. The Bullseye creations can be made out of any food, whether cheesecake, vegetables, M&M's, or carpaccio. Whatever the ingredients, winners will be chosen based on creativity and likeness to the Bullseye logo. For each entry received, SuperTarget will donate $5 to the Utah Food Bank, up to $2,500. In addition to the grand prize winner receiving $5,000 worth of free groceries, a second place wanner will receive $1,000 worth of free groceries, a third place win ner will receive $500 worth of free groceries and $100 worth of free groceries will go to 32 semi-finalist- way to extend this mission. Utah Food Bank Executive Director Jim Pugh agrees. "We are very grateful that SuperTarget is stepping up at a time of great need for Utahns, Pugh said. "If 500 Utahns participate in the SuperTarget Bullseye Challenge, we can receive the full $2,500 donation and provide 10,000 meals to needy families."
