Southern Utah University deans list tops 500 students - Southern Russia largest states of deans the CEDAR CITY The list in history of Utah University was released this week by the universitys registrars office, giving recognition to 567 students from ten states and two foreign countries. To qualify for the deans list at SUU, a student must complete at least 15 quarter hours of academic work for which a letter grade is awarded and earn a grade point average of 3.60 or higher for that work. A grade point average of 4.0 equals straight A grades. A 3.60 grade point average is roughly equivalent to an "A-min- average. The fall quarter SUU deans list includes students from Korea and Subscribe! Smm West Valley Symphony opens 1996 season with Valentines performance Feb. 10 Harmons Taylorsville-Bennion- West Valley Symphonys annual St. Valentines performance is one of its best of the year. And this year will be no exception, according to Ralph Baker, head of the , Cougar Place, and the Valley Fair Mall Customer Service Booth. Stephen Baker is musical direc- tor and conductor. The Radiothpn will air on KSL travel packages, sports and cultural event tickets, and invitations to the KSL Celebrity Dinner, held about six weeks after the Radiothon at the hospital where diners will be personally served and hilariously entertained by KSL radio personalities. Pledges may be called in to KSL Newsradio 1160 from Tuesday, Feb. until Wednesday, Feb. 7, at 7 p.m. KSL began the Radiothon in behalf of the hospials patients in 1976. The cumulative total for the event is expected to pass the $2 million mark this year. All the funds contributed over the years have 6 at 3 p.m. been used exclusively for the medical care of sick children without insurance or other financial resources.
