Soon after high school, Derek became involved in the Continental Singers and Orchestra based in Thousand Oaks, California. The group, which draws hundreds of singers to perform in countries around the world, was assembled in a hotel when Derek spotted Tara and thought it sure would be nice if she were a part of his touring groups She was, and theyve been making music ever since.
