Show THE MAGNA TIMES, THURSDAY, PAGE 3 MARCH 23, 1989 Community Magna water well tests clean Independent laboratory tests have found no indication of industrial solvents in a private well located north of the Hercules Bacchus Works Plant. The test results showed none of the compounds in the water at the detection limits of one part per billion which is significantly below federal safe drinking water standards. Results are expected to be available later this week on samples taken from three other wells in the vicinity. Ruth Novak, Bacchus Works Vice President and General Manager commented, If solvents were present in the water they would have been detected by this test. Ms. Novak said the three other wells sampled earlier this week are also expected to test clean. One of the many beautiful houses in Magna sits adjacent to Arbor Park Shopping Center.
