The young couple moved to Garfield in 1923, where Robert was employed by the Utah Copper co. The family moved to their present Magna home in 1945. Robert passed away last year. Mrs. Metcalf noted her mother devotes many hours to quilting and and is most happy crocheting when her table is laden with goodies for all to sample. Service to others brings her great joy. Mrs. Reid is also an avid fan of the Utah Jazz. She is mindful of her pioneer ancestors and the many blessings said her she has received, daughter. Mrs. Reid is most admired for her patience of Job, kindness, tenderness, love and being a caring mother.
