Bird triple garden wedding t oi Connie W inrow and Reid Faddis, Vickie Winrow and Mark Niehols, and Kathy Umrow and Jack Petersen took place at the home of the thiee bride's in Granger A wedding luncheon held at Andy's Smorgasbord w'as hosted by parents of the thiee grooms Connie was the first to be escorted on her father's arm to her fiance Reid Faddis Her gown had scallops at the neckline, with lace overlay on the bodice The sleeves weie full to a five inch wide button cuff The floor length hooped skirt was over laid w ith lace ruffles Each ruffle was edged with scallops Her finger tipped veil was held In a three inch wide lace head band By A Mr. Winrow, taking the arm of his daughter Karla, maid of honor for her three sisters, walked with her Dad back up the aisle so he could escort his second daughter Vickie, to her fiance Mark wrists. Lace over the front to the waist and down the front of the skirt to the ruffle at the floor length hem line A four inch w ide head band held her Nichols Each of the three brides carried matching bouquets of red and white carnations and red roses w ith red ribbon Vickies floor length gow n had a scalloped scooped neckline. The bodice had lace overlay, long form fitted tapered sleeves with lace trim The empire waist gown had a full skirt forming a chapel train. The bride chose a three inch wide lace head band with bead accents to hold her lace edged ankle length veil Mr Winrow then brought his third daughter, Kathy, to her waiting fiance, Jack Petersen Kathys gown had semi-fit-te- d sleeves with ruffles at the finger tipped, lace edged veil streamers Usher Don Reed introduced the guests as they proceeded down the wedding line which consisted of Mr and Mrs Elmer Winrow, Granger, the bride's parents, Mr and Mrs Gary Faddis of Murray, Mr Mike Barnes, best man for Connie and Reed Faddis Mr and Mrs Verg Nichols, the groom's parents, with Mr. Robin Anderson as best man for Vickie and Mark Nichols Next in line were Mr and Mrs. Jack Petersen of Magna, the groom's parents. All three mothers and the maid of honor wore gowns of poppy red, with a V neckline, long sleeves, with lace trim White corsages adorned their gowns. Mrs Rocky (Wendy) Sandstorm and Mrs. Don (Joan) Winrow as guest books attendants, sat at a table which had a picture and guest book for each of the newly wedded couples. The unique wedding cake was on a pedestal with a wedding cake on each of the four extended arms and one cake above the main pedestal All five cakes were decorated with white lattice work with small red flower accents Mrs Verg (Marg) Nichols hosted a bridal party for her a tour of duty with the Navy. They will honeymoon in Las Vegas and San Diego before residing in San Diego, Calif. 51 sweet and sour pot roast daughter-in-law- . 4 Mrs Connie Winrow Faddis is a Granger High to 5 pound boneless beef shoulder or chuck pot roast 2 tablespoons oil she has been employed at Walgreen. Her husband, Reid is serving a naval tour of duty, stationed in Long Beach, Calif. The couple will honeymoon in the Uintas before returning to Salt Lake City graduate, cup chopped onions can (15 oz.) tomato sauce 14 cup firmly packed brown sugar 12 cup water 14 cup original Worcestershire sauce 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 teaspoon salt 12 small new potatoes Trim excess fat from meat. In a large heavy saucepot heat oil. Add beef; brown on all sides, about 10 minutes; remove beef and pour off all but 1 tablespoon of the fat. To saucepot add onions; saute for 1 minute. Add tomato sauce, sugar, water, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and salt. Cook and stir until mixture conies to a boil. Add browned beef. Simmer, covered, turning meat occasionally until meat is almost tender, about 2 hours. Add potatoes and carrots. Simmer, covered, until meat and vegetables are tender, about 40 minutes. Remove meat and vegetables to a heated platter. Serve gravy as is or thicken by stirring 1 tablespoon flour blended with 14 cup water into each cup of gravy. Cook and stir until thickened. YIELD: 10 to 12 portions. 1 1 Mrs Vickie Winrow Nichols is a Granger High Her husband, graduate Mark, is employed at Deseret Detective Agency. They will honeymoon in the Salt Lake area and will live in Salt Lake City Mrs. Kathy inrow Petersen is attending Granger High School and is employed at Walgreen Jack is serving Receives Award Joel Dimick, the son of President and sister Merrill Dimick, was recently presented with his Duty to God award This award is very special to those who earn it, in that it takes four years to fulfill the various requirements involved Joel is currently serving as the chairman of the youth committee and has spent much time planning the BYU Youth Conference this year He is also a Sundayschool teacher in the 11th Ward CoupSe Wed Miss Peggy Ann OKeefe and Fram DiSera were married June 28th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Magna A reception was held in their honor that evening in the Parish Hall A rehearsal dinner was given by the grooms parents Shower Given Twenty-eigh- t guests met together Thursday afternoon.
