Starkey of Dubuque, Iowa, announce the engagement of thier daughter, Carol, to Wayne S. Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Spencer Taylor of Magna, Utah. They plan a June 5th wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. A wedding breakfast will follow. The setting fora 7:30 p.m. reception that evening will be the Colonial House, 259 Seventh Avenue. Mr. Taylor, who fulfilled an LDS mission to Scotland, is attending the University of Utah and will graduate in Mechanical Engineering in June.
