A meeting of the Hunter Lady Lions was held May 13 at the Ming Cafe and officers installed. Twelve members and two prospective members attended. Officers are Mrs. Walter (Ida) Ewell, president; Mrs. Dale (Ruth) Hughes, vice president; Mrs. C. K. Robison, hospitality chairman; Mrs. E. M. (Lucy) Jones, parliamentarian-historian- ; Mrs. Bruce (Bar- bara) Burnham, The members Lion pins. secretary-treasure- r. received Lady Mr. and Mrs. Ebby Jones and son, Earl, traveled to Pocatello, Idaho, on Saturday to attend funeral services of a sister-in-lato Mrs. Jones, Mrs. Frank (Serelda) Barnett, wife of Mrs. Jones brother. Earl Jones sang two solos at the rites. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Hughes entertained at a dinner Mondjy honoring Mrs. Randy Moesser for Mothers Day. Other gues.s were Mr. Moesser and son, Kevin. WARDS HONORED The Hunter Seventh Ward received awards for a camporee recently at Sku'l Valley for the Scouts. Hunter Third placed in camping and rated high in skills. Mars Killpack is scoutmaster for Hunter Seventh and Fran Prentice is over Hunter Third. She was born in Hunter July 13, 1902. their marriage, Following Mr. and Mrs. Fairbourn moved to Bacchus where they resided for some time before deciding to make their home in Hunter, having been here for the past 44 years. Mr. Fairbourn was an employe of Hercules Inc., Bacchus Plant. They are the parents of seven children, five of whom are living, to include Mrs. Henry (Lorraine) Boudell, Salt Lake City; Mr3.
