Show OBITUARY NOTES ROBERT died at tooele thoele city utah may 7 1895 he was born march 12 1812 in Glai glasgow gow scotland he heard the ampel preached by the latter day sa cainia ints and was baptized in july 1811 1841 ordained an elder the same year and presided over the dumbarton branch ten years when he emi grated to america in ia 1855 the deceased was a resident of tooele thoele forty years and presided over the elders quorum rum for many years he was 0 ordained a high priest in 1867 and was the president of that quorum in tooele county for 28 years he was burled buried in tooele thoele city cemetery may ath 1895 he was an honest Soot scotchman ehman many hearts respect his memory and with true tree sympathy for his wife and children and all those hose nearest and dearest behim to him in this life and that which is to come the good people off tooele thoele as friends friend acquaintances and citizens ask the SEWS and the other papers of the territory with the millennial Milen nial alar to copy this notice that he be remembered as one who was honored and re spec tedas one in the far off ages who will be spoken of as a true latter day saint he was a man that loved the church and always sent comforting grace into the hearts of his brethren and sisters and laced many under obligations for his him E end inda sets he had sturdy qualities and was fond of his friends his qualities of head and heart excited admiration that made us his friends lends ir peaceful be his bis rest D N SOPHRON IOUS BARTON barton daughter of william and mary williamson Willi amaon barton who died at iron county artall utah on i he day of may 1895 was born a greenville beaver county utah january 29 1871 she moved with her parents to Parag oonah in may 1891 deceased had suffered with liver complaint for upwards of five years during which time she was attended by the best befit physician of beaver city during her last sickness which was violent she was Drost prostrated rated tor for four months during daring thi sickness dr hall of paro carowan parowan Pa rowan wan gave all the attention and assistance that medical science would suggest to save her life kind attention of loving parents parent and many willing and earnest friends was freely bestowed beb towed together with the faith and prayers pray era of the elders who were cal ledin ledlin to ad adminis minis er to her in her extreme sufferings fe ten days prior to her death an abscess of the liver broke discharging into the stomach causing an outflow of over two gallons from which time she gradually e ank until death came to 10 her relief she was a member of the young ladies mutual Improvement association and died in full faith of the gospel she said to her father a day or two before the endgame that she had no as prepared pre to meet her god in peace the funeral services were held in the ward meeting house may 1895 and were largely attended by a houct amt of relatives and friends Iri ends the speakers were elder wm edwards elder james B davenport bishop W E jones and elder wm win robb jr all expressing the kindliest kind liest feelings of sympathy in behalf of lh ih bereaved parents and sorrowing friends eighteen vehicles well filled with people followed the remains to the cemetery at ac parowan carowan Pa rowan a distance of five milers milea through a driving snow and hall hail biform brother wm robb bobb offered the dedicatory prayer at the grave cox communicated |
