Show THE territorial FAIR tomorrow at 12 noon the twentieth annual exhibit of the deseret agricultural and of utah will commence the indications are that it will eclipse by far any and all of its predecessors in every department there la Is promise of beautiful and successful showings the exposition grounds and buildings were thi own open at an early hour this morning and all day they have been the scene of the utmost activity exhibitors from a majority ot of toe the counties of the territory were busily engaged in artistically arranging rati ging their displays display in the space apace allotted to them by tonight the most odthe of the entries will have been made and all must be in before tomorrow at 10 o a m the interior of the main building has baa been most moat beautifully decorated under the immediate supervision of herman bamberger er thousands of yards of bunt ing sod and an untold amount of 0 dinue and other kinds of paper of bright colors have been used in making an almost endless variety of novel and pleasing ples ising designs aam a magnificent centerpiece lia in the shape of 01 a balloon aloon suspend ou from the point in the middle of the main apartment redi red white and blue streamers extend to all of the walla wall this ornament Is numerously studded with incandescent light and when the full force of the electric current Is IB turned on the spectacle will be one of dazzling splendor THE ART ABT EXHIBIT the art exhibit is ig expected to maintain and even surpass the high bih order of excellence it has achieved in the past and that means that it will be far in advance of any similar showing ever attempted in the west educational department the whole of the south wing will be devoted to t abe educational department which wh ich is going to be one of the features of the lair fair MINERALS owing to the lack of space apace the board of directors today set a large number of carpenters and other men to work erecting an additional additions addi tiona I 1 wing in which to display utah min erato brals the force will be kept at work until tomorrow morning at which time it to la expected they will have corn com edthe annex after which the mineral will be moved in manufactures W H rowe bowe has charge of the MAU man department and an extensive and creditable display is expected to be made MACHINERY AND implements there will bean be an earnest but good natured rivalry among the exhibitors of agricultural implements and machinery the display will be the biggest ever seen in utah horticulture AND floriculture it to IB a little difficult to say my just what mod kind of a showing will a be made in these departments but it IR in safe to ex hect a good one agricultural 18 agricultural products will be shown in great abundance and in nu numerous varieties the exhibits will also be of excellent quality LIVE STOCK it is eafe to say that the live stock department will be one ot of which ut utah all can be proud many fine breeds of horses cattle sheep hogs ani an other animals are on the entry rolls and will be much admired by our visitors POULTRY AND BEES these departments will both be well represented and will attract much favorable comments comment besides carrying off i valuable prizes ADMISSION FEES by order of the board of directors the admission fee will be fifty cents each for all adults adulte last
