and then returned to council bluffs lowa where he be continued until his release acting as president of the iowa conference elder tuttle met with moderate buc cess but found the people as a rule indifferent to the gospel he however believes that there is a good future before the missionaries in the north western states and says they are doing a great deal towards removing much of the prejudice which has hitherto existed he returns home in eke excellent ellent health death of bishop N J aagaard bishop niels jensen aagaard was born january 15 1885 1835 in fare jut land denmark was the son of jens and maren jensen As aagaard ligaard Liz aard at the age of 21 years he was mustered into service as a soldier and for three years served in the kida hinged d guard on his return home united states and labored mostly in nebraska returned home in 1877 and on july of that year was ordained and set apart as bishop of levan he died february ary 4 1892 and leaves a family to mourn his
