| Show commissioner OF PENSIONS REPORT THE report of the commissioner Comm leeioner of pensions for the fiscal year ending june 80 1891 is just published it shows that there were on the toll loll at that date pensioners being more than on june 80 1890 during this last fiscal year payments ote to the amount of were made on original claims cla ioui the aggregate annual value of the pensions on the roll june 80 30 1891 was the total amount of money disbursed OR oa account of pen expenses etc during toe the fiscal year was as an compared with disbursed during the preceding fiscal year there were on J june u ne 30 1891 twenty widows and three daughters of soldiers of the revolution on the roll in 1870 there were widows and daughters daughter on the roll so that in a few years these revolution landmarks will be entirely obliterated of the war of 1812 survivors were on the roll and widows of soldiers of that war survivors of the mexican war n numbered u and the widows oa 07 Mex mexican tean war soldiers there were army invalid penti pensioners loners and army widows minor children chilgren chil iren etc on the pension row roll J june urne 30 1891 the navy invalid pensioners numbered and widows minor children etc numbered bared 2668 2568 there are about soldiers of the union now living of whom are on the pension rolls it is estimated that soldiers were killed in battle or died during or since the war this leaves survivors of the war who are not dot pensioned and deceased soldiers not represented at all on the pension rolls during the last fiscal y year ear pensioners died |
