| Show 1 PRIMARY FAIR display of childrens work la jn farmington 1 oct 2 aw editor deseret news under the management of president aurelia y S rogers bogers and her counselors counsel ors julia herr and lucy dark clark the prina prim mary associations of davis stake held a fair ta ia the court house at farmington beginning begin lillig sept 27 and ending octa oct I 1 A great variety of articles were on exhibition showing skilful handiwork on the part of the little ones who had contributed to the fair artieres Artl Arti cres worthy of special mention were miniature frame houses buses li cupboards wheelbarrow garden rake hayrack fruit dryer wash boar tops puzzles etc a good display 01 of melons squashes beans beets corn cori onions and other garden gardea products ro ducts also a choice collection of gruits fruits and flowers of different kinds and it a nicely arranged variety of quilts ions rugs mats laces carpets and artificial flowers eighty quarts of canned fruit frait thirty five glasses of jelley a collection of herbs a cheese and one quilt ot of the articles exhibited were donated to the deseret deseret hospital I 1 twelve yards of carpet and 1075 the proceeds resulting from the sale of two quilts were donated to the mantl manti temple the stake and association officers are entitled to many thanks from the parents of the children they have taken so much interest in instructing instruct ina since the primary associations were organized r great credit is due brother james and sister jane smith and miss kate kaie M chase for toe excellent arrangement of the exhibits their general supervision of the fair and the gratifying success attained OBSERVER |
