Show P IN nr n nr BRIEF C Utah The Shakespeare Festival has placed a quilt on display for the Blot k by Blot k: Stories of Common Threads exhibit at the Frontier State Park Museum until Dec. 31. The quilt was created by the first USF costume designer out of the costumes used in the inaugural year of the festival in 1962. The quilt is one of many in the Threads exhibit. Ryan Paul, the museum's curator ' ,said. Paul decided to pursue this exhibit because, to him, quilts tell a story. Quilting is one of Americas art forms, Paul said in a press release. It is one of those ways in which we have been telling stories for years. Fred Adams, USF founder, said the quilt and quilting in general is ah art form and something that is enjoyed by all who visit the museum. The Frontier Museum is located at 635 North Main Street, and is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day but Sunday. Anyone in Beaver, Garfield or Iron counties can enter the Best Business Ideas Competition. First place will receive $3000 second place will receive $1000 third place will receive $500 and two honorable mentions will receive $250.
