We are making arrangements to vacate the south wing of the Science Center, said Michael D. Richards, vice president for college relations. The offices will be temporarily relocated in Oak Hall until renovation of the south wing is complete, he said. The college will utilize $9,500,000 in state funding to renovate the Science Building. Weve received funding from the state to renovate the entire complex, said Richards. Construction is scheduled to begin next year. The south wing of the Science Building will be the first to undergo renovation amounting to $5,600,000, he said. The nursing program, geology department, home economics department, and faculty offices will be relocated there. The north wing of the Science Building will also be renovated for $3,900,000. We will continue to use the north wing during construction, then when weve finished renovating the south wing, well occupy it and renovate the north wing, he said.
