Heroes and Villains will be shown on The Adult Cartoon Show. It will be an action-packe- d episode featuring the classic good vs. evil confrontation. The Spike Jones Show, originally seen in 1957, is back and only on NCTV. This wacky, slapstick, show features the great innovative jazz showman and his original band, The City Slickers. New Grooves, Campus Networks weekly progressive music video show is hosted by Vee-ja- y Meg Griffen. It is gaining national recognition as one of the top music shows in the country. These programs can be seen Monday p.m., on through Friday, from KGSU-TCable Channel 9. music-comed- y Recital slated Violinist Julia Quick will perform selections by Bartok, Bach, Beethoven, and Kriesler Wednesday at 8 p.m. in the Thorley Recital Hall. Quick will be accompanied by pianists Evelyn Jones and Hal K. Campbell. The program will start with Hungarian composer Bela Bartoks First Rhapsody and continue with J.S. Bachs Ciaccona from Partita No. 2 in D minor for unaccompanied violin. Other selections include Beethovens Sonata No. 1 in D Major, Op. 12, No. 1, and five numbers by the Austrian composer Fritz Kriesler. Art show scheduled A dual exhibition of student art work on display through June 7 at the Braithwaite Fine Arts Gallery. The annual SUSC Art Students Exhibit is being shown in the large gallery, art is major Jackie Griffiths senior portfolio in the smaller adjacent gallery. Registration under way Students planning to attend SUSC this summer can enroll now for first and second session classes, and students can preregister for fall quarter classes starting today. Registration for summer school will continue each working day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through June 23. The process can be completed, including the mandatory payment of fees, at the Registrars Office in the Administration Building. |
