Deadline to enter is Tuesday, March 6. ts Observatory open The universe, from a look at its possible creation to the mysteries of its black holes, is the subject of March programming at the SUSC Ashcroft Observatory. A look through the observatorys Muskatov telescope will follow slide show presentation the half-hou- r which starts this month at 7:30 p.m. Thats a half hour later than February programming, a change thats been made 14-in- to the summer equinox, Observatory Director Brent Sorensen said. Free observatory programs are offered each Monday and Friday during the month. Additional programs are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays at a cost of $10. If youve already seen the slide show, you can come out to the observatory at 8 p.m. for the observation session, Sorensen said. as we move closer Tailwind' coming The 1984 edition of Tailwind, SUSCs literary magazine, will be issued this spring. The staff is now accepting poetry and short stories. Selections should be submitted to the English department offices on the third floor of Old Administration before April 6. This years edition will feature poems from Carol Jane Bangs, Jim He, men, William Kloefkorn and other nationally recognized writers. |
