There are some conditions in which an abnormal amount of water Is retained in the tissues. This is a problem for your physi cian because there may be abnormalities which cause this and they should be investigated medically. Salt has some influence on water retention in the body. Therefore, when reducing you might retrlct your salt intake to some extent However,- remember that during hot weather we need more salt than we do in cold weather.
