Hi ARE the winners in the final week of The Salt Lake Tribune Summertime Snapshot Contest There were 411 black and white entries and 260 in color submitted in the final weeks flood from which these top notch pictures were chosen. THESE EIGHT PHOTOS will be added to other color and black and white winners selected during the season. From them the judges will choose a final contest winner in each of the categories, four of the black and white and four in color. These will be printed in HQME Magazine in a subsequent issue and then be submitted to the Newspaper National Snapshot Awards contest. Each will receive $25 as local Grand Prize winners and will be competing for prizes up to $1,000 each in the national contest, plus a trip to Washington, D.C., for two to attend the award ceremonials. Other cash awards include $500 16 Salt Lake City, August 16, 1964 for second class winners, $250 for third place, and many $50 and $25 special merit prizes for a grand total of $32,000. WINNERS IN THE final black and white weekly contest are: Class A Gordon L. Woolf, 4094 So. 1460 East, Salt Lake City. Class B George Hargraves, 110 No. 18th, Pocatello, Idaho. Class C Ray Kirkland, 900 Orchard Dr., Bountiful, Utah. Class D--J. W. Sheets, 3754 So. 3375 West, Salt Lake City. Winners in the final monthly color contest are: Class A Charles S. Davey, 2209 E. 9th South, Salt Lake City. Class B Myrtle Kelly, South C Street, Rupert, Idaho. Class C Donald L. Lambdin, 666 H St., Salt Lake City. Class D G.
