reporter of the convention on taking the chair mr dic nic mckay riad made a few remarks which were brief and sensible he took occasion to remind the delegates that the proprietors of the opera house ement was not greeted with applause from the devotees of the weed who were largely represented in the assemblage on motion a committee of seven on credentials was appointed by the chair col kaighn the mover be being n named as its chairman it was moved no v pd and carried that a committee on permanent organization and order of business and another on resolutions be appointed by the chair col sells
