Mrs. 23rd Carol Jacqueline Miss Hansen became the bride of David John Weenig Friday, April 15, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. LeGrand Richards, member of the Council of the Twelve Apostles, officiated. In the evening a reception at the Center LDS Ward honored the newlyweds. Mr. and Mrs. Glen M. Hansen, 1573 W. 4th North, are the brides parents. Mr. Weenig is a son of Mrs. Edith Weenig, 426 Chicago St. (940 West), and the late John Weenig. For the nuptial event the bride selected a gown of white lace over antique taffeta, cut along princess lines. She carried a bouquet of ' pink camellias and lily of the valley. Attending the bride was her sister, Mrs. Angelo Mer-linmatron of honor, who wore a pink taffeta dress. Other attendants, Mrs. Glen Haslam, Miss Charmaine Merlino, and filower girls Carla Erwin and Lark Ann Kershaw wore dresses ' of aqua taffeta with embroidered nylon overblouses. And all the things they thought they couldnt do, the lines they thought they could never say the right way, they did with a zeal and enthusiasm which would be hard to beat in a professional group or otherwise.
